Description
Chased gilt bronze "magic lantern" clock depicting Cupid carrying his quiver and bow, his eyes in enamelled glass. The magic lantern on its back forms a dial, the latter enamelled with Roman numerals for the hours, a railway for the minutes and encircled by a frieze of blue glass cabochons. The oval base rests on four feet in the form of bird of prey talons and features a frieze of putti centred on an antique vase on the front.
