Description
A mahogany and mahogany veneer dressing table with chased and gilded bronzes decorated with water leaves and palmettes.
The oval ringed swivel mirror is supported by two uprights with two cornucopia-shaped light arms.
It rests on a grey veined white marble top with a bowl and groove. The belt is underlined by a frieze of corded scrolls and opens to reveal two drawers. The whole is supported by a curved base joined by a spacer bar.
Stamped JACOB twice and signed A. JACOB PARIS on each drawer lock.
1st third of the 19th century.
