Bishop's cross pendant in 750°° yellow gold, of poly-lobed form, with applied stylised foliage decoration, inlaid with five oval facetted amethysts in a surround of round garnets, the centre adorned with a double-layer cameo representing Christ in a surround of fine pearls. On the reverse and in the centre, a medallion revealing a reliquary.
Second half of the 19th century.
In a red leather case bearing the papal coat of arms of Leo XIII.
