Cheyron
Pair of cruets and their tray in 800°° vermeil, the body finely engraved, one with the motto Vinum Germinans Virgines in a finely chased border of vine branches, the other with Haurietis aquas de fontibus salvatoris, in a finely chased border of reed flowers. The openwork handle is decorated with arabesques of foliage and flowers. The handles depict a flower in full bloom. Each cruet rests on a poly-lobed pedestal with gadroons.
The poly-lobed tray is engraved with a stylised foliage frieze. The reverse is engraved Souvenir des oncles Maurice et Charles Barons de Reinach Hirtzbach, première messe dit le 17 août 1891.
