An important neoclassical rectangular base in blackened wood and chased and gilded bronze decorated with friezes of posts and foliate interlacing. It is edged with mouldings and rests on four topsy-turvy feet decorated with interlacing. Louis XVI period in the style of the work of Philippe-Claude Montigny (1734-1800), awarded the title of Master on 29 January 1766. H. 18 cm - W. 71 cm - D. 22 cm (small accidents and missing pieces; wear to the gilding)
