Description
Sideboard in mahogany and mahogany veneer. The front features two doors and two drawers, whilst the rounded sides have two doors designed to resemble drawers. A half-moulding accentuates the drawers. The side panels feature fluted mouldings with serrated edges, ending in tapered, fluted legs. The top is made of grey Sainte Anne marble with a recessed centre and raised edges. Louis XVI period. Stamped on the front left side panel: N LANNUIER and JME. Lannuier (Nicolas Louis Cyrille) was admitted as a master cabinetmaker in 1783. Between 1786 and 1788, he supplied the Prince of Condé with over 5,000 livres’ worth of pieces intended for the Château de Chantilly. Height: 102 cm. Length: 225.5 cm. Depth: 52.5 cm. Cracks.
