Baluster-shaped tripod coffee pot and teapot.
In chiselled silver (950°°°).
Decorated with stylised foliage, friezes of water leaves and interlacing roses and ribbons. The spout is stylised as an acorn, the spout end shaped as a horse’s head, the side handle in blackened wood, the whole resting on three curved claw feet decorated with palmette motifs.
Paris, 1809–1819 and 1819–1838.
