The movement, set within an octagon flanked by two half-columns, rests on a base decorated on the front with a motif of a basket of flowers and ribbons, supported by turned feet. Directoire period. Height: 41 cm. Width: 28 cm. Depth: 12 cm. Suspension replaced. A model similar to the clock sold at the Garde-Meuble by the widow of Louis Duguers de Montrosier in 1812.
