A set of three rectangular plates decorated with hunting cupids and two scenes of mythological devotion.
Monogrammed RLM 1878.
Beautiful designs in shades of blue.

The Pichenot-Loebnitz factory was founded in Paris in 1833 by Jean-Baptiste Pichenot. In 1841, he began manufacturing earthenware panels known as ‘ingerçables’ for fireplace surrounds and various types of cladding. The Pichenot-Loebnitz factory was one of the first to embark on the production of decorative architectural earthenware, of which this piece is a fine example.
