A cylindrical desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer; the lower section, which opens via three drawers, is topped with a white marble slab (cracked) surrounded by an openwork cornice. The open cylinder reveals four small drawers and a sliding tray with a rim; it opens via three drawers. It rests on fluted legs ending in tapered feet.
Stamped ‘F SCHEY’ on the rear right leg. SCHEY (Fidelis) was granted master’s status in 1777 and became a councillor of his guild in 1783.
