A small lacquer box, decorated with irises in silver and black hiramaki-e lacquer on a fundame gold ground, the interior in nashiji.
Japan, late Meiji/Taisho period.
Height: 5 cm. Length: 12.3 cm. Width: 9.2 cm.

- A round box (possibly a kogo) decorated with two huts in gold lacquer and inlaid with mother-of-pearl and pewter, on a nashiji background, nashiji inside as well.

- A small red lacquered wooden tray with a workshop mark in four fine gold kanji, the rim gold lacquered and the back black lacquered, with an old merchant label "Proust".
