SET OF SILVER CUTLERY, PROVINCE, 18th CENTURY
single-flat pattern engraved with a coat of arms. Consisting of :
- 5 forks and 5 spoons, Master silversmith Jean-Louis Imlin, received 1746, Strasbourg, 1761 (one spoon without silversmith's hallmark)
- 6 forks and 6 spoons, possibly Avignon, circa 1760, hallmarks: (charge and Master Goldsmith twice)
- 1 place setting, incomplete hallmarks, possibly Avignon circa 1770
- 1 fork, Master goldsmith François Marchand, received 1777, Laon, 1785, and later hallmarked 1798-1809, accidents, one tooth missing, coat of arms erased
