PICHET, WESTERWALD OR STUTTGART, 18th CENTURY
A stoneware pan with a slightly flared foot and almost cylindrical neck, decorated in low relief with stylized brown and blue floral motifs, under a lead glaze.
The pewter lid bears the hallmark of an unidentified master pewter potter from Stuttgart.
(Small chips at the base of the foot).

The earthenware makers had the lids, fasteners and rings made by master pewter potters.
