A specimen (tooth) of lamniform Squalidae of the species known as Carcharodon megalodon or synonymously Otodus megalodon considered to be the largest Squalidae predator to have lived in pelagic environments; specimen embedded in a mineral gangue; beautiful patina and external colouration of the tooth.
