Description
A low chair with a medallion-shaped backrest in capucine-coloured lacquered wood, moulded and carved with ribbon friezes on the backrest, topped by a crown of acanthus leaves. The seat is moulded with a frieze of pilasters joined by connecting blocks and a sunflower motif. It rests on tapered, fluted legs. Stamped ‘L.DELANOIS’ (1731–1792) on the front crossbar.
