Portrait of Abu Muzaffar Muhiuddin Muhammad Aurangzeb Âlamgir (1618–1707, known as Aurangzeb (meaning ‘ornament of the throne’ in Persian), or also as Âlamgir I (Conqueror of the World).
Oval miniature painted in gouache on ivory and set in a brass frame with a hanging loop.
