IRAN Important Kachan Kork carpet Made from high-quality, silky lamb’s wool pile (harvested in spring), known as Kork On a cotton backing Density approx. 7,000–7,500 knots per dm² Exquisite finesse. Good overall condition Beautiful design (without a central medallion, featuring intricate decorative motifs) Ivory field decorated with rows of finely drawn botehs (symbolising seeds, motifs found on cashmere shawls) surrounded by slender strands of stylised wheat ears.
