CHINA - KANGXI period (1662 - 1722) Porcelain dish decorated in blue underglaze and polychrome enamels known as "doucai" (contrasting colours) with a pomegranate tree, the fall decorated with branches of pomegranates, plum tree and vine. The exterior is decorated with branches of peaches. On the reverse, the Chenghua apocryphal mark (chipping). 16 cm in diameter Provenance : Collection of Mr Moïse Barbaud, then by inheritance. Mr Moïse Barbaud, an enlightened collector and banker in South America and Hanoi, brought back many objects, furniture and paintings from his travels.
