Amusing and dense love letters from Bory de Saint-Vincent, tender and playful, addressed to Flora Tristan, his "Très belle voyageuse & philosophe aux cheveux de saie et aux yeux de gazele", his "Très belle paria", etc. "Je descais de mon grenier", "I was coming down from my attic".
