DUMAS, Alexandre (1802-1870). Set of two large fragmentary autograph manuscripts. S.l.n.d. 3 large leaves in folio. Some defects. Fine working documents by Dumas, in dense handwriting, with erasures, additions and corrections. The first autograph manuscript, on white paper, is paginated "1" and "2" at the head. The second manuscript on paper is numbered 38. Three other pages on the same subject, in the hand of a secretary, are attached, paginated 40, 41 and 42. The verso of this second manuscript contains a long list of names of aristocrats, in alphabetical order for the letters H, G, L and M.
