VIDOCQ, François (1775-1857). Set of 3 documents: L.A.S. and 2 L.S. Paris and s.l., 8 October 1833, 15 May 1838 and 4 June 1840. 2 pp. in-4 and 1 p. in-8. Vidocq submits conclusions concerning a milkmaid, widow of the gardener Louis Emery Pierre Delouche, a debtor of Vidocq's; he calls for the settlement of a debt dating back four years and will wait "the moral time of your reply, but no longer"; a mysterious note follows: "I am assured that this ink is indelible.
