Very silky, high quality fine lambswool velvet known as Kork on a cotton backing
Frayed endings
Fairly good condition
Remarkably fresh colours
Density approx. 8000/8500 knots per dm².
Ivory field decorated with finely drawn polychrome garlands of flowers and foliage framing a large poly-lobed central medallion in the form of a stylised pendant inlaid with multicoloured flowering palmettes.
Four spandrels with motifs echoing the central medallion.
Five borders, the main one in old gold, decorated with rows of polychrome floral bulbs.
