Portrait of a priest wearing a barrette, probably Blessed Anthony Grassi

Blessed Anthony Grassi, priest of the Oratory (+ 1671). Born in Fermo in Italy in 1592, educated by the Oratorians, he entered the Congregation of the Oratory and was ordained a priest in 1617. He often made the pilgrimage on foot to Notre-Dame de Lorette, then made the Holy Year pilgrimage to Rome in 1625. He was superior of the Fermo Oratory.
Beatified in 1900 by Pope Leo XIII.
