A large oval silver dish of the contoured filets design, the edges decorated with a frieze of interlaced ovals, the wing engraved with a coat of arms stamped with a Marquis's crown. Vannes, Brittany circa 1750. Charge and discharge marks of the sub-farmer for Vannes, circa 1740 to 1765. Marked MO Benjamin LE CLERC, received Me. in 1723. Weight : 1 576 g - Length : 49 cm - Width : 33 cm Coat of arms: - Right: Thérèse Fortunée du Bahuno ( - 1757) lady of Kerolain. - Left: François du Pérenno, alias the Count of Penvern (1695 - 1779), squire, lord of Penvern.
