A large oval silver dish of the contoured filets design, the edges decorated with a frieze of interlaced ovals, the wing engraved with a coat of arms stamped with a Marquis's crown.
Vannes, Brittany circa 1750. Charge and discharge marks of the sub-farmer for Vannes, circa 1740 to 1765.
Marked MO Benjamin LE CLERC, received Me. in 1723.
