A Louis XVI period ormolu and black patinated chased lion clock depicting a lion with its right front paw on a ball, supporting the enamelled dial with Roman numerals (name of the clockmaker erased) in Paris (small dents to the enamel), surmounted by a vase with garland of flowers and roses, on a chased ormolu mound with rocky decoration, on a white marble base, more recent brought-in movement, small lack to the bronze at the back of the drape. Height: 36 cm - length: 26 cm - depth: 11 cm (wear)
