PAIR OF SILVER TORCHES
By Alexis Loir, Paris, 1745-1746
The curved foot moulded with a frieze of ovals and a frieze of fillets clasped with four cartouches, the umbillicus with twisted channels, the shaft with four panels of lambrequins on an amati base alternating with plain panels, the tapering chased with channels.
