NEVERS FAIENCE PLAT FROM THE LATE 17th CENTURY Resting on a heel, with full blue and white decoration of a large tied bouquet of flowers, surrounded by five bouquets of flowers and fruit and various animals and insects, cross-hatched braid around the edge, the reverse decorated with stylised motifs; two grip holes, chips. D. 44 cm (17 ¼ in.) Provenance: Galerie Peyre-Sieberth, Paris ; Me Couturier-Nicolay, Paris, 3 December 1980, lot 43.
