In brass and steel, the applied hour ring with Roman numerals, half-hour markers, the centre of the dial signed 'George Bathribrie Manchester' beneath a floral design, an iron hand, engraved openwork headpiece; movement with four pillars and two wheel bodies, horizontal verge escapement and balance wheel (later), striking on gong (repainted grey); brass case, the doors cut out to let the balance wheel through; with its chain and weights.
