Quadrangular, resting on four legs in the form of animal heads, the body decorated with taotie heads on a background of nails, the handles in the shape of an inverted "U", chased and gilt bronze mounting in the Louis XVI style, two printed labels inscribed "ADER PICARD TAJAN 553" and "MONACO DIM. 14 MARS 44 ADER TAJAN"; the feet are reduced, the lid handle is missing, minor restorations.
