Joseph Willems (1845-1910) Belgium, second half of the 19th century Triboulet Bronze bust Resting on a veined marble base, titled in the bronze 'Triboulet' and on the copper plate 'Triboulet / Sculpteur J.Willems', inscribed on the bronze: 'Cie des Bronzes de Bruxelles (cire perdue)'. H. 57 cm (22 ½ in.) l. 22 cm (8 ½ in.) A bronze bust depicting Triboulet, by Joseph Willems (1845-1910), Belgium, second half of the 19th century Joseph Willems was a Belgian sculptor born in Antwerp in 1845. He trained at the Académie de Malines from 1864 to 1867.
