Bronze altarpiece for private worship, featuring a bas-relief depiction of the Marriage of the Virgin after Raphael in the central panel, a scene of baptism and communion in the Renaissance style on the inside of the wings, and the Annunciation on the outside, the exchange in which Gabriel brings a lily to the Virgin as she receives the Holy Spirit. Mounted on a wooden panel draped with red and white fabric, bearing a Victor Lambinet label on the reverse. 19th century. 40 x 23 cm overall.
