A mummy's breastplate in several parts, featuring a multi-tiered pectoral, a Khepri scarab and scenes representing various divinities.
The second fragment consists of a helm-mask with underlined features.
Stuccoed and polychromed canvas. Gilding for the mask. Several pieces, probably missing.
Egypt, Late Period to Roman Period (664-32 BC).
Total dimension: 74 cm
Provenance: the cartonnage is accompanied by a proof of deposit at the restoration workshops of the Musée du Louvre, dated 1979.
