PHILIPPE STARCK (BORN IN 1949) DESIGNER & ARA STARCK (BORN IN 1978) & VIA ÉDITEUR ‘Ara’ model designed in [1985] Stool in moulded black polyurethane. The truncated cone-shaped structure rests on a square base. The four sides are engraved with recessed motifs based on drawings by Ara, daughter of Philippe Starck. Signed ‘Ara STARCK’ near the base. H. 41 cm – W. 30.5 cm Shows signs of wear and tear, with small cracks; the edge of the base is damaged.
