This carpet, notable for its size, is adorned with a large, multi-lobed central medallion in ivory, enhanced by a central rosette featuring bouquets of polychrome flowers and set within a garland of polychrome flowers. The entire composition is set against a bronze-coloured ground decorated with volutes, floral scrolls, shells and acanthus leaves.
A wide border on an ivory ground, decorated with floral scrolls and latticework in the spandrels.
The carpet shows signs of wear, previous restoration work, damage (holes and tears) and has probably been reduced in size.
