Description
Lidded bonbonnière, mid-19th century Rocaille style, four-legged on a square base, in cut crystal and silver hallmarked ‘Minerve 1st title’. Master craftsman Martial FRAY (1849–1861). Vessel with two handles and scroll-shaped feet, stylised with acanthus leaves and coats of arms. (The screw securing the crystal bowl is missing). Lid finial featuring a tassel and foliage. Dimensions approximately 25 x 11 cm.
