Late 19th-century teapot in the Louis XV style, in silver hallmarked with the Minerva mark (1st title) (traces of vermeil), made by Ernest CARDEILHAC (1885–1904). Baluster-shaped, it rests on a pedestal decorated with acanthus leaves, with an ebony handle. The lid is topped with a pomegranate knob. A monogram is chiselled onto the bulbous section. Gross weight: 573 g. Height 20 cm.
