Massimiliano Moro Eclettica SL Lamp Chestnut wood, aluminium, LED 3 colour options Year of creation: 2020 H14.5 W30 D27 cm Massimiliano Moro is a sculptor who works with light, colour and movement, with shadows taking centre stage. He shapes light to give colour to shadow. His work aims to create new balances that evoke nature in certain ways, whilst remaining conscious of their artificiality and retaining a familiarity that facilitates contemplation. His artistic training began at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, where he studied sculpture and subsequently obtained a diploma in art and design. At the European Institute of Design in Barcelona, he obtained the IED Master’s degree in architectural lighting. These light sculptures project a circle with an almost tangible presence, within which shadows of highly saturated colours are created. The absence of light is used as a means of illumination, drawing attention to the shadows themselves and transforming them into an integral part of the luminaire. The base consists of a chestnut wood structure, reduced to its essential elements to create a balance between the projector and the projection. It comes in three variants: a floor-standing version and two L-shaped versions.
