Jean Aubert, Jean Paul Jungmann and Antonio Stinco Tore Pair of inflatable armchairs PVC and flocked fabric Piermag edition H66 W120 D90 cm Seat height: 43 cm Jean Aubert, Jean Paul Jungmann and Antonio Stinco are three architects who founded the company A.J.S. Aérolande in 1967 and were the authors and editors of the magazine Utopie. The Tore armchair, produced by Piermag, was first exhibited in 1967 at Galeries Lafayette in Paris, then in 1968 at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris as part of an exhibition on inflatable structures in March 1968. Condition: good original condition, normal signs of wear. Note an old patch (using original material) on the underside of one armchair. Extensively documented; this model is held in the collection of the Centre Pompidou and the Design Museum in Brussels.
