Its design is based on a succession of taut lines and sharp angles, giving the structure a graphic silhouette reminiscent of the movement of a boomerang. Straddling the line between functional furniture and sculpture, Boom Rang belongs to Philippe Starck’s particularly experimental period at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s and bears witness to his collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Driade.
