Kutarq Minus Armchair Aluminium, car spring Limited edition of 8 Date of creation: 2024 L98 W48 H90 cm Minus is a single-material armchair that achieves maximum expressiveness through the simplest of gestures: although its geometry appears simple, the piece pushes aluminium to its technical limits. The Minus armchair consists of a 10 mm-thick sheet of aluminium, folded without any welds, additional components or ornamentation — just raw aluminium. A recycled car spring controls the rocking motion of the seat, giving the piece a unique character and surprising comfort. It is difficult to define the exact category of this piece: armchair, rocking chair, single-seater sofa, or simply a collectable design object. Minus is a timeless classic with an aesthetic that is both iconic and functional, blurring the line between furniture and sculpture. Condition: lightly used, with very slight scratches or minor cosmetic wear, but no structural issues.
