Originally created in 1936 by Salvador Dalí as a tribute to the mouth of the actress Mae West, it was redesigned in 1971 by Studio 65 to resemble Marilyn Monroe’s lips. Now produced by Gufram, this sofa is made from polyurethane foam with a red stretch fabric cover that is machine-washable at 40°. Bocca, a comfortable sofa or armchair that is also a modern sculpture, is now featured in several museum collections.
