Josep Vila Capdevila Portico Side table Year of design: 2019 Grey marble W30 H45 D30 cm 73 kg Portico is a sturdy, brutalist and minimalist stool/side table. The arches on either side focus the light towards a central point, creating a poetic and minimalist sense of illumination. JOSEP VILA CAPDEVILA Founder and lead designer at Aparentment, he graduated in Industrial Design from Elisava University in 2001. He went on to study Photography at Elisava, as well as 3D Design Engineering at the UPC. His wide-ranging interests have led him to work in advertising, fashion, photojournalism and even music. In addition to his work at Aparentment, he has taught Industrial Design at the Terrassa School of Art and Design and won a bronze LUX award for ‘Best Advertising Photography’.
