Description
IMEXOTRA Double-sided desk Desk Light wood and metal Belgium, c. 1950 H77 W165.5 D80.5 cm It features a wide rectangular top with rounded corners. On one side it rests on a base unit and on the other on an open frame incorporating two stacked shelves, edged with thin metal rods. The base unit has a door on one side and open storage compartments on the other. This double-sided design allows it to be placed in the centre of a room and emphasises the functional nature of the piece. Signed Imexcotra. Presented as a Belgian furniture company active in the mid-20th century, Imexcotra remains poorly documented. This desk exemplifies a modernist design language combining clean lines, visual lightness and the practical organisation of storage spaces.
