Arne Jacobsen Reversible rug with a circular pattern Wool Designed in 1957 H375 L250 cm Large woollen rug featuring a repeating circle pattern. The reversible weave has one side predominantly beige and the other predominantly grey, offering two interpretations of the same pattern. Fringes at both ends. This piece dates from a key period in Arne Jacobsen’s career, when he was at the height of his influence as an architect and designer. It was created at the same time as the design of the iconic SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, an emblematic project that left a profound mark on Danish design of that era.
