François Belliard Box Raku 1992 H28 L13.5 cm In good original condition, with a few chips visible in the photographs A bottle by François Belliard is included, in need of restoration François Belliard was born in 1949 in Tours. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen, specialising in printmaking. He then settled in the Loire Valley with his wife, the ceramicist Agnès His. There, he practised raku, combining whimsy with precision. He subsequently devoted himself to furniture design, and occasionally to ceramics.
