Borek Šípek (1949–2016) & David Palterer (1949) Model 201 Vase For Alterego Circa 1990 H35.5 W28 cm Bořek Šípek was a Czech architect and designer. In the mid-1980s, he founded the Alterego design studio in Amsterdam with the architect David Palterer. The publisher’s glass pieces are hand-blown in Nový Bor, Bohemia. Alterego has also produced works by Niek Zwartjes, Richard Meitner and Jan Hladík. Bořek Šípek has also worked for Driade and Néotù.
