Description
Jean Burkhalter Folding breakfast tray Green plastic, brass Circa 1950 H30 W53 D65 cm A green plastic breakfast tray, fitted with a retractable brass base. When extended, the legs allow the tray to be used at a raised height; when folded away beneath the tray, they make it easy to store and use as a serving tray. The combination of coloured plastic and brass gives this household item a understated presence, blending practical function with a contrast of materials.
