Description
Josep Vila Capdevila Plus Table Side table Pink onyx Year of design: 2020 H47 D33 cm A luxurious version of our Plus side table, crafted from pure, crystalline pink onyx that allows light to pass through its stone legs like a natural stained-glass window. This transparency lends the piece that sense of connection between the interior and exterior found inside grand cathedrals, when one looks up at the stained-glass windows. The table consists of a circular top made of treated marble, supported by four legs of the same material, forming two positive pointed arches. Josep Vila Capdevila (1985) Founder and lead designer of Aparentment, Josep Vila is a multidisciplinary designer who has worked in fashion, advertising, photojournalism and even music. In 2012, he launched his first collection of objects, Marblelous, which garnered national and international acclaim. Since then, he has pursued a design approach focused on experimentation and innovation, working with fine, robust and durable materials.
