Description
Charles de Gaulle: *Le Fil de l’Epée*. A hardback volume, numbered 162/965, printed in December 1946 on the Berger-Levrault presses in Nancy. Headbands and endpapers designed and drawn by Valentin Le Campio, engraver. Paper with a double watermark bearing the mark of the Marais paper mills. The volume is accompanied by a handwritten letter dated 1947 from R. Dodane, addressed to “Monsieur Le Directeur” and inviting him to read the book.
