Description
Emile DUBOIS (1884–1957), metalworker (Nancy, Lorraine), attributed to. Art Deco iron lamp base with brass inlays, decorated with stylised flowers and pine motifs. 1920s. Height: 29 cm (excluding the lamp holder). Dubois learnt his trade at Majorelle’s, working in their workshops for several years before setting up his own business in the mid-1920s. He was André Delatte’s regular metalworker.
